Accessibility statement

Version 1, in effect since Oct 24, 2026.

Our aim

We want everybody to be able to use ORG-APP: the people who run an organization on it, the people it keeps records of, and anyone who books, gives or signs up on an organization's website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, in the app, on org-app.com and on the pages organizations publish with ORG-APP. We are not there yet everywhere, and this statement says where we fall short.

What we do to get there

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard. It starts with a link that skips to its content, its parts are named for screen readers, and the control you are on is marked as you move.
  • Dialogs and panels take you into them when they open, keep you there, and give you back where you were when they close. Menus answer the arrow keys, and Escape closes them.
  • Single-key shortcuts, such as N for something new, can be switched off, for people who use speech input or who press keys by accident.
  • Text, controls and the marks that show where you are clear the contrast WCAG asks for, in light and dark mode and in every color theme.
  • You choose your text size, its weight and the spacing of pages, and ORG-APP follows your device's light or dark setting unless you choose one.
  • Errors are announced to screen readers and said in plain words.
  • On a phone, tables become cards, and the main controls are large enough to press with a finger.
  • Every control in our shared kit is checked by automated accessibility tests, open and closed, and the code is checked against the recommended accessibility rules each time it changes.

Where we fall short

These are the gaps we know of, from a review of ORG-APP in October 2026:

  • Words. Some screens and help pages call the same place in an organization a unit, a branch or a chapter. (Review E-09)
  • PDFs. The PDFs ORG-APP makes, such as certificates, receipts, statements and reports, are not tagged for screen readers.
  • Not yet tried by the people it is for. Our checks are automated tests and our own review on a phone and a computer. ORG-APP has not yet been tested by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology every day.

What we do not control

  • The check on public forms that a person is sending them comes from Cloudflare.
  • The call screen in ORG-APP's video rooms is Jitsi Meet's, open-source software we run on our own server, meet.org-app.com: we choose its settings, not how its screens are built.
  • What organizations write on their own websites, in their messages and in their documents is theirs, and so is making it accessible.

Tell us

If something in ORG-APP is hard for you to use, or you need something from us in another format, please tell us: email support@org-app.com, or, if you are signed in, use Help & support. Say which page, what you were trying to do, and what you use to read or navigate it, if you are happy to. We will reply, tell you when to expect a fix or another way to do what you need, and give you the information you need in a format that works for you. If you are not happy with our answer, write to legal@org-app.com.

We update this statement as we fix what it lists.
