Website page
One page of your website beside its home page: its words, its address and cover picture, and whether it is published and in the menu.
Write the page
- On Settings › Organization › Website, press Edit at the end of the page's row.
- Type its Title and, if you like, a Line under the title.
- Write in the box. The buttons above it put in a heading, bold or slanted words, a list, a quote or a link; or type the marks yourself: # starts a heading, - a list.
- Press Preview to read it as a visitor will, and Write to go back.
- Press Choose a picture for a cover picture, if you want one.
- Press Save changes on the bar at the foot of the page.
Then: Saved. While Published is unchecked it is a draft, and nobody outside can see it yet.
Rather not? Press Discard on the bar to put everything back as it was, or Website above the title to go back.
Sokha writes Our story: a heading, two paragraphs and a list of the towns the organization reached each year. Sokha presses Preview to check it reads well, and saves it as a draft to finish on Friday.
Publish it, and put it in the menu
- Check Published.
- Check In the menu to list it across the top, or leave it unchecked so it is reached only by its address.
- Press Save changes.
- Press View the page to open it on your website.
Then: Saved and published. The page is on your website at the address shown, and in the menu if you chose it.
Rather not? Uncheck Published and press Save changes to take it off your website. Nothing you wrote is lost.
Change its address
- Type the new one in Address: one word, or words joined by hyphens.
- Press Save changes.
Then: The page is at the new address. A link to the old one finds nothing.
If the page has no box to write in
- Read the note that stands in place of the box.
- An Events page lists the events you have opened to the public, soonest first.
- A Contact page shows the contact details from your home page: change them under Home page on Website.
Then: Their title, cover picture, menu and publishing are set here as for any other page.
This page opens only for an organization-wide role that changes settings, such as the Owner or an Admin, on a plan with more website pages; anybody else is shown Not found.
