Texts
Your organization's credit for codes, reminders and broadcasts by SMS and WhatsApp: what is left, what it went on, and where codes may be sent.
See your credit and what it went on
- Read the three figures under Your credit: Text credit, The last 30 days, and People who can be texted, by SMS and by WhatsApp.
- Scroll to What your credit went on.
- Read each line: credit added, held for a text, settled at the provider's price, or given back because it was not sent.
Then: A text holds its estimate while it sends, then is charged the provider's own price. A code is never charged more than its estimate, and a text that fails costs nothing.
Add credit
- Press Settings › Billing under How it works.
- Under Text and WhatsApp credit, press one of the Buy buttons.
- Pay on Stripe's page.
Then: It is added as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, at cost: a dollar paid is a dollar of credit. It shows here as Credit added.
Rather not? Ask ORG-APP from Help & support instead, and the team adds credit against your receipt.
Who: An Owner or Admin buys credit in Billing.
Choose which countries codes go to
- Read Where codes go: your organization's country, the countries ORG-APP texts for everyone, and those an Owner added.
- Choose a country in Add a country codes can go to and press Add the country.
- Or press Add beside a country your units are in, where the page suggests one.
- To stop codes going to a country an Owner added, press Remove beside it, then Remove with the country's name to confirm.
Then: Codes go there from now, or stop. Each change is in the audit log with what it was before.
Who: Only an Owner adds or removes a country, because a code goes to whatever number somebody types, at your cost.
Set how many codes go a day
- Type a number in Codes a day, or leave it blank for ORG-APP's own figure.
- Press Save changes on the bar that appears.
Then: Blank is 200 a day, and the most is 1,000. No more than a quarter of the day's codes go in one hour, so a burst cannot spend the whole day.
Who: Only an Owner changes it. Each person can also ask for at most 3 codes an hour and 6 a day, to 3 numbers.
If somebody does not get your texts
- Look at the top of this page: if ORG-APP has not set up its text provider yet, nothing is texted and nothing is charged.
- Check that the credit covers the send.
- Ask them to prove their number with a texted code on Your account, and to choose SMS, WhatsApp or both.
- If they texted STOP, they text START to get texts again.
- Remember quiet hours: nothing that can wait is sent between 9 PM and 8 AM where they are, and it goes at 8 AM. A code is never held.
Owners and Admins open this page, and anybody else who may change the whole organization's settings. Only an Owner adds a country or changes how many codes go a day; everybody else sees every control, not to be used, under a notice at the top saying Owners change them. It shows where your organization's plan has Text messages & WhatsApp.
