Taking the quiz
A class's quiz as you take it: its rules, your attempts and what counts, and the paper, one question to a screen.
Take the quiz
- Press Take the quiz on the class's Work tab.
- Read its rules: how many questions, the pass mark, the time limit, your attempts in this class and which attempt counts.
- Press Start the quiz.
- Answer each question and press Next. Each answer is saved when you choose it; press Come back to this one later to mark one to return to.
- Press Check and hand in, read what is answered, and press Hand it in.
Then: You see what the quiz shows after it is handed in: your answers marked right or wrong, or your answers only. A written answer waits for whoever runs the class to mark it, and so does that attempt's result.
If it has a time limit
- Watch the time from when you start: it is counted on the server.
- Hand it in before it runs out.
Then: When time runs out, what you answered is handed in — at once if the page is open, otherwise shortly after, usually within the hour. Only the answers that arrived in time count.
Try again, or see your attempts
- Read Your attempts, and What counts toward completing.
- Press Try again while you have attempts left.
- Press See my answers where the quiz shows them.
Then: What counts is the best attempt, the last, or the average, as the course set it.
Only a learner with a place on the class takes its quiz. A participant from outside takes it while the class holds their place.
