Service-hour certificate
A volunteer's approved hours between two days, as a certificate to print or save as a PDF.
Print your own certificate
- Open My timesheet and press Entries.
- Press Service-hour certificate.
- Choose the first day in From and the last in To.
- Press Show.
- Press Print or save as PDF, and choose to print or save it in the window that opens.
Then: The certificate names you and your organization, and states your approved volunteer hours between those days, over how many shifts, with the hours at each unit. The page's controls do not print.
Sokha needs proof of service hours for a college application. They open their certificate from My timesheet, choose January 1 to today, press Show, then Print or save as PDF, and attach the PDF to the application.
Issue a certificate for a volunteer
- Open Team hours and open the volunteer's month.
- Press Service-hour certificate under their name.
- Choose the days in From and To, and press Show.
- Press Print or save as PDF.
Then: The certificate names you as its issuer, with the day it was issued.
Rather not? Press Back to their hours to return to their month.
Who: Whoever reads hours at a unit the volunteer is seated at, and may see their name there.
If it says there are no approved volunteer hours
- Check the days in From and To.
- Check that the hours were worked as a volunteer: a certificate states volunteer hours only.
- Ask whoever approves the hours to sign off any still waiting.
Then: Hours count once they are approved, or accepted where your organization asks no sign-off for volunteers' hours.
If you cannot issue one for somebody
- Read the reason under No certificate here.
- Ask the leaders of the unit where they serve to issue it.
Your own certificate is always yours to print. Somebody else's is for whoever reads hours at a unit where they are seated and may see their name there, and it counts their volunteer hours at every unit they served.
