Running order
The plan for the day, minute by minute, with somebody on each line, readable by everybody the program is shown to.
Plan the day, line by line
- Press + Add a line at the end of the day it is for, or start from a shape and change it.
- Type What happens and its Minutes. On a program of several days, Which day is already the day you pressed it on; change it there to move it.
- To start a day at another time, change the time beside its heading and press Set.
- Under Who, choose Who leads it and what they are Doing what.
- Press Add the line.
- Drag a line to move it up or down.
Then: The bar at the top stays green while the plan fits the program's time, and turns red when it runs past the end. On a program of several days, each day's heading shows when it starts and ends and how long its lines take, such as 2:00 PM – 6:35 PM · 4 h 35 min. Whoever runs the program sees a small square photo beside each line's lead, or their initials.
Rather not? To take a line out, open it, press Remove this line at the foot of Details, and confirm. Whoever leads it is told, and so is anybody whose line now starts earlier; its files go too.
The convention runs 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the running order adds up to 4 hours 45 minutes, so the bar stays green. Sokha adds a 90-minute workshop and it turns red: the plan now runs past the end.
Ask somebody to take a line
- Open the line and press Who.
- Choose who leads it, and leave Ask them to confirm they can do it checked.
- Press Save.
Then: They are asked "Can you do this?", and you are told their answer. Whoever leads a line is told when it moves.
Rather not? To find somebody new, press Find a speaker in Resources…: booked for this line, they become its lead.
Let people sign up for a line
- Open the line and press Sign-up.
- Check Let people put themselves on this line, and choose who it is Open to.
- Check Somebody has to confirm before they are on to choose who confirms it.
Then: The line is offered on Programs to whoever it is open to: I will do this takes it, and Ask for this line waits for the person confirming, who is told when somebody asks. Anyone who runs the program can answer too.
Get the slides for a line
- Open the line and press Slides.
- Check Ask whoever leads this for their slides or handouts.
Then: Whoever leads it adds their files to the line themselves, and the top of the page counts the lines still waiting for slides.
The keynote speaker takes the opening line and adds their slides to it the same week. The running order shows two lines still waiting for slides, so Grace loads the laptop the night before with every deck in hand.
Print it, or follow it live on the day
- Press Run sheet for the printable run sheet, and print it or take a copy.
- Press Live timing, then Start the clock, to follow the plan as it happens.
Then: Live timing says how far each line is running late or ahead. Only you see that clock, and nothing is saved.
Rather not? A run sheet can be shared by a link with people who cannot sign in, such as a band: it shows the current order and names nobody until you say so.
Everybody the program is shown to reads its running order; planning it is for whoever holds Run bookings and rosters at its unit. A line you lead, or one you could take, has its own buttons for you, though a seat that only reads, such as an Auditor's, takes no line.
