Reviews

The review steps waiting on you, the review cycles you run, and your own reviews.

Do the review step waiting on you

  1. Look under Waiting on you: your self review, a signed-off review to acknowledge, a review you write, a peer view asked of you, an appeal to answer, or, for an Owner, the top person's review waiting for its reviewer.
  2. Press Open beside it.
  3. Take the step on the review's own page.

Then: Each step leaves the list once it is done. From 3 days before a self review or a reviewer's view is due, whoever still owes it has their notice quietly retitled to say when it is due, once: no email is sent.

Who: A self review is the person's, a review is its named reviewer's, a peer view is the colleague's asked for it, and an appeal is answered by HR or an Owner, never the reviewer.

Start a review cycle

  1. Build the questions in Forms as a named form, and leave it a draft: press Build the questions in Forms.
  2. Come back to Reviews and, under Start a review cycle, type the cycle's Name.
  3. Choose the unit under Who it reviews.
  4. Choose the form under Its questions.
  5. Set Self reviews due and Reviewers' views due.
  6. Check Ask for peer views or Review volunteers too if you want them.
  7. Press Save the draft.

Then: The cycle's own page opens, as a draft. Nobody reviewed or reviewing sees it yet, but HR at its unit and the units above it, the Owners and the Admins see it and can change it. Open it from there when it is ready.

Who: HR at the unit who also runs forms there: the HR administrator, the Owner and Admins.

Grace builds “Autumn 2026 review” in Forms with six questions and leaves it a draft. On Reviews they choose the North Region, set self reviews due November 20 and reviewers' views due December 4, check Ask for peer views, and save the draft.

Read your own reviews

  1. Find the cycle under Your reviews.
  2. Read where it stands: Being written, Shared with them or Signed off, with to acknowledge when it waits for your word.
  3. Press Open.

Then: You read your self review always, and your reviewer's view once they share it.

Who: Your reviewer writes their view; HR, your manager and the Owners read it once it is shared.

Follow a cycle you run

  1. Find it under Review cycles you run, with its due days.
  2. Read how many reviews are being written, shared and signed off, and how many appeals are open.
  3. Press Open to see each person's review by its stage.

Then: The counts never show what a review says. The top person's review is counted only for an Owner.

Everybody sees their own reviews and the review steps waiting on them. Review cycles show only at units where you keep HR records, where you hold both Enroll, invite and seat people and Read personal details, as the HR administrator, the Owner and Admins do; starting one needs Run forms there too. The Reviews, Pulse and One-to-ones tabs show to those who hold Read pay. Anybody else sees My team, Reviews, One-to-ones and Joining as the tabs; a manager, whoever holds a position others report to, opens Reviews from My team in the menu, and everybody else from Home, My workspace or a notice. Reviews exist only where your organization's plan has Performance & engagement.
