Reports sent to you
The messages and posts people reported to you as their safeguarding lead: why, who reported it, the words, and what has been done.
Read a report
- Press a report in the list. One not yet seen to is marked Open.
- Read the reason, who reported it and when.
- Read the words as they stood when they were reported, and anything the reporter added.
Then: That you opened it is recorded. The words stay as they were reported, even if they were changed or withdrawn later.
Say what was done
- Open the report.
- Under What was done, write what you did.
- Press Mark as seen to.
Then: It is seen to for every lead it went to, with your name and what you wrote. Whoever reported it is told it was seen to, never who saw to it or what was done.
Mary Ann opens a report about a message in a youth team's conversation, speaks with both people on Tuesday, writes "Spoke with both; nothing further needed" and presses Mark as seen to.
Come back to this page later
- As a Safeguarding lead, press Reported to you under Your work, at the top of the menu.
- On Home, press Open beside the safeguarding reports to see to, under Waiting on you.
- Or open Messages and press Message settings, the gear beside the views on a phone.
- Under Reports sent to you, press Open reports.
Then: A new report also reaches you as a notification, which opens it here.
If it says no reports have been sent to you
- Read who a report goes to: the safeguarding lead at the reporter's own unit.
- If that unit has none, it goes to the organization's safeguarding lead; if there is none at all, to its Owners.
- Ask whoever administers your organization if you should be the lead somewhere.
Anybody can open this page, and it shows only the reports that came to you. Whoever wrote the message or post is never sent the report, whatever role they hold. A safeguarding lead of the whole organization also sees Who has seen sensitive data beside the title: it opens that register on Settings › Your data › Export and archive.
