Report form

One report form: its questions, who writes, reads and signs it, how the round being asked now stands, and what came back.

Publish a form and start asking

  1. Add at least one question people can answer, under Questions.
  2. Press Preview as a writer to see the form as people will fill it in.
  3. Press Publish and start asking.

Then: It says Published, and how many people have been asked. Each of them is told at once and finds it on My report. If some have nobody to read what they send, it says how many: somebody at or above their unit needs Read work reports. The form shows Live, and the round being asked now appears on a timeline.

Grace publishes the Monthly field report on October 1. It says 9 people have been asked, and 1 of them has nobody to read their report, so Grace asks for the Hilltop lead to be given Read work reports before the 5th.

Change who is asked, when it is due, or who reads it

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Change Asked by, Who is asked, How often, the due day or Remind them.
  3. Change Read by, Sign off up the tree, Final at, When a level has more than one person or Only the people shown may act.
  4. Press Save.

Then: The page shows the form as it now stands. On a live form a new due day or how often applies from the next report: the one open now keeps its due day, and every report before it keeps its own.

Who: Final at is where the last sign-off is given: the unit asking, or the writer's own level, such as their region. It is never above the unit asking.

See how this round is going

  1. Read the facts at the top: Schedule, Reminder, Asked of, and Read and signed.
  2. Read the timeline: when the report opened, when the reminder goes, and the day it is due by the end of.
  3. Read the counts under it: Still to send, Waiting to be read, Read and Sent back.
  4. Under Overview, read Where this round's reports come from: each route, with how many have sent.

Then: The counts are only of the units where you read reports. For the people themselves, open the round on Staff reports.

Stop asking for a report

  1. Press Stop asking beside the form's title.
  2. Read what stopping does, there in place, and press Stop asking again.

Then: It says Stopped asking. It leaves everybody's My report and no new rounds come round; everything already sent in is kept and stays readable.

Rather not? Press Publish and start asking to ask again.

Ask another unit with the same form

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Under Asked by, press make a copy.
  3. Change the copy's unit and anything else, then publish it.

Then: The copy opens as a new draft with the same questions and settings, which you can point anywhere.

A form opens for whoever builds report forms or reads work reports at the unit asking, and, for a form asked of the units beneath it, for whoever reads work reports at one of those, always at a unit you can see; anybody else with its address is told it is not found. Settings, publishing, stopping and the questions are for whoever may build report forms at the unit asking; anybody else sees the questions' buttons, none working, under a note that those who build report forms change it. Results and the answers' download are for people who read reports, and count only the units where they do. Somebody whose name a unit keeps from you shows as Name not shown to you.
