Projects

Work your units keep as boards and lists, such as camp preparations or a fundraising drive, each with its tasks and the people on it.

Start a project

  1. Press New project.
  2. Choose the Unit that keeps it, from the units your seats reach, and give it a Title.
  3. Say What it is for (optional) if you like.
  4. Under Who can read it, choose Everybody at its unit or Its members only.
  5. Choose The program it is for (optional) if it is for one, and under Start from, a blank board or a template.
  6. Press Start project.

Then: You are its owner, and it opens with To do, Doing and Done, or with the template's columns, milestones, tasks and checklists. Put its people on it from its Settings.

Rather not? Press Templates, open a template and press Use this template to start from it.

The region runs a camp every July. Sokha saved last year's preparations as a template, so this year they press New project, start from it, and every task and checklist is there, ready to be given out.

Find a project, or a task

  1. Type in Search projects and tasks.
  2. With two letters or more, read the tasks whose titles hold your words, listed above the projects, and press See every one in All tasks when there are more than are shown.
  3. Press Add filter to narrow the projects by Unit, Health, Your part or Program.
  4. Press Archived or Templates to see those instead.

Then: Each project says its unit, the program it is for, how many of its tasks are open and done, and your part in it: Owner, Member, or Open to its unit.

See all your work across projects

  1. Press All tasks for every kind of work you can see in one table, not only project tasks.
  2. Press Workload for the hours planned for people, week by week.
  3. Open To do for what is given to you, from every project, beside the rest of your work.

Then: A project with tasks given to you says how many are yours, and they are on Home under My tasks too.

Bring in a board from another app

  1. Press Import.
  2. Choose where it comes from: Asana, Trello, monday.com or any spreadsheet.
  3. Follow its steps, choosing the unit it comes in at.

Then: It comes in as a project at that unit, with its tasks.

You see the projects you are on, those open to their unit where you are seated at that unit or above it, and every project at a unit where you run projects. A project for its members only is seen by them and by whoever runs projects at its unit. A seat that only reads, such as an Auditor's, has no Projects: the page says so, and Open My workspace leads to whatever a project gave them by name.
