Posters
The designs your events' posters are drawn from: made once at a unit, for itself or every unit beneath it, so a poster for any event is then a minute's work.
Make a design
- Press Make a design at the top of the list.
- Give it a Name, choose the unit under Made at, and who it is For: that unit and every unit beneath it, or that unit only.
- Choose a Layout and a Font, and check the colors that are the design's own.
- Write the words beside the code under Beside the code, and anything under Along the bottom.
- Press Make it.
Then: It is drawn on a sample event at once, and offered on the Poster page of every event at the units it is for.
The national office makes one design with the brand fixed. A unit's Coordinator opens their youth day, chooses it, adds Free lunch under the title, and downloads a square post and an A4 to print.
Keep every poster looking like the organization
- Press Change it on the design's row.
- Check Fix the brand: units making a poster from it change only the words.
- Press Save.
Then: A unit making a poster from it changes only the words. Unchecked, it may choose its own colors too.
Make an event's poster
- Open the event and press Make a poster.
- Choose a Design, and change the Title or the words if you like, then press Save.
- Press PNG or PDF under the shape you want: A4 to print, a square post, a story or a wide banner.
Then: Every download is drawn from the event as it is now: its next date and time in its own zone, its place and its picture, so a moved date is never on an old poster.
Retire a design
- Press Retire it at the end of the design's row.
- Read what retiring does, and press Retire it again, or Keep it.
- To use it again, press Bring it back on its row.
Then: It is no longer offered. Posters already made from it are drawn in the plain design, with their words.
You see and make designs at the units where you hold Design posters: the Owner and Admins, a Coordinator, or somebody in communications. Posters arrive switched off: the Owner or an Admin switches them on in Settings › Features › Modules.
