Our strategy

Where the organization is going, as its Owner or an Admin shared it with everyone: the headline, why it matters, each goal and how far along it is, and your own part in it.

Read where we're going

  1. On Home, press Read our strategy on the Where we're going card, first in Home's first column.
  2. Read the headline, why it matters, and who shared it and when.
  3. Read each goal's card: how far along it is and whether it is on track, and how many projects serve it.

Then: Home's card shows the headline and the first 3 goals; this page shows every goal that was shared. Nothing here opens Governance: no board notes, no readings history and no names of who owns a goal.

Dara opens Home and reads “Closer to every neighborhood, by 2028” at the top. They press Read our strategy and see four goals: three with a bar, one with its title alone. “Train 120 volunteer leaders” reads 78 of 120 leaders, on track, and 4 projects serve it.

See your part in it

  1. Read Your part, on the Home card and on this page.
  2. Open a project it names from Projects, to do your part of it.

Then: Your part says which shared goals you own, the projects you are on that serve one, and your own goals that serve one. It says nothing when you have none of these.

Read another unit's strategy

  1. On Home, press 1 more on the Where we're going card.
  2. Press the unit's name at the top of this page.

Then: Each strategy shared at your unit or above it is here, your own unit's first.

Share the strategy with everyone

  1. Open the plan from Governance › Plans.
  2. Press Share with everyone.
  3. Write a Headline of up to 120 characters, and Why it matters in up to 1,000.
  4. Check the box beside up to 8 goals to show. Clear Show how far along it is, and whether it is on track to show a goal's title alone.
  5. Press Preview as staff to see the Home card and this page as everyone will.
  6. Press Share with everyone at the foot of the sheet.

Then: Everyone seated at the plan's unit and below sees it on Home and here, read-only seats included. Check announce it on the Noticeboard, with a link to Our strategy to post it there too, to the same people.

Rather not? Press Shared with everyone on the plan to change it, then Save the changes; or press Stop sharing, and nobody sees it from then on. You can share it again later.

Who: The Owner and Admins. Sharing gives nobody Governance: staff do not get the plan's page, its board's papers or its readings.

You see a strategy shared at your unit or above it, by your own seats. People from outside, such as guests in a group or outside learners, see none. Where your organization keeps a unit's names within it, the page says an Owner or Admin shared it instead of their name.
