One resource

One person or thing a unit keeps: what it is, who keeps it, who has it when, and, for its keepers, its loans, repairs and papers.

Check when it is free, and book it

  1. Read its month calendar and Booked for: every booking, what it is for and its days.
  2. Press Book for a program, or Ask to borrow for equipment, a vehicle or stock.

Then: Its keepers are asked, or it is booked at once when your unit keeps it.

Change what it says

  1. Press Edit.
  2. Change what it is, what it says about itself, how many there are, its fee, and who may book it.
  3. Press Save changes.

Then: What you save shows on its page to everyone who may book it.

Rather not? Under Papers, choose a file in Add from My Drive to attach a floor plan or a manual. For a venue, press Change rooms and beds to set its rooms once, with words such as women, men, family or step-free; every program staying there uses them.

Lend it, and log it out and back

  1. Press Lend to a unit to lend equipment, a vehicle or stock for a while, with no program.
  2. Press It went out when it leaves.
  3. Press It came back, and say how many came back and whether any need repair.

Then: Something damaged is out of service until you mark it fine again under repair.

Rather not? A booking that says it is not linked to a program can be put on one of its unit's coming programs: press Put it on a program.

Retire it, or bring it back

  1. Press Retire, and confirm.
  2. Later, press Bring it back into use to offer it again.

Then: A retired resource stops showing in Find.

Anybody who may book it sees its page and its calendar. Editing, lending, repairs and retiring are for its keepers; an outside person's profile is for the keeping unit's Coordinator and Lead and roles given See outside contacts.
