One membership

One membership: who it names, where it stands, its dues and how each was paid, and its member card.

Record a payment that came in

  1. Find the period under Dues.
  2. Press Record a payment beside it.
  3. Check Received: it starts at what is still owed.
  4. Choose How it came.
  5. Type a Note (optional), if it helps.
  6. Press Record the payment.

Then: Paid in full, the dues read Paid and the membership is paid through their period: renewed, begun, or back from its grace or its lapse. Less than that leaves the rest still owed. Each payment is recorded with your name and posted once to the unit's book, where it has chosen its takings accounts.

Rather not? To give money back, press Refund beside a paid period, type what was refunded, choose How it went back and press Record the refund. A refund is never more than was paid.

Who: Whoever keeps the unit's membership dues: a Finance officer by role, and whoever runs membership there.

Sokha pays the year's Family dues by bank transfer, quoting the dues' reference. Dara opens the membership, presses Record a payment beside the period, keeps the amount it offers, chooses Bank transfer and presses Record the payment: the dues read Paid and the membership is paid through the end of its period.

Waive dues

  1. Press Record a payment beside the period still owed.
  2. Press Waive at the top of the sheet.
  3. Type Why (kept on the record).
  4. Press Waive.

Then: The dues are settled without money, and the membership is paid through their period. Nothing is posted to the book, and your reason is kept on the record.

Add or take off a person

  1. Press Add a person beside the household, or the people named for an organization.
  2. Under They are, choose An adult or A child, or a contact for an organization.
  3. Type their First name, and their last name and email address if you have them.
  4. Press Add.
  5. To take somebody off, press Take off beside their name.

Then: They are listed on the membership, and are added to Participants, or found there by their email address and first name.

Who: Whoever runs membership at its unit.

Print their member card

  1. Press Print member card.
  2. Choose A4, Letter or Card printer.
  3. Press Print.

Then: The card is your organization's ID card with MEMBER across it, the member's name, the kind and number, the day it is valid to, and a code. Scanned at a door kiosk it says only whether the membership stands, with no name or number.

Who: Whoever runs membership at its unit. The member prints their own from Your account.

End a membership

  1. Press End membership.
  2. Type Why, such as Resigned.
  3. Press End it.

Then: It reads Ended, with your reason. Its dues still owed are canceled; money already received stays recorded, to refund if it should go back. The lead is told where they have an account.

Rather not? If they are only moving to another kind, press Change type instead, choose the Kind of membership and press Change: dues already asked keep their amount, and the next period asks the new kind's.

Who: Whoever runs membership at its unit.

What you see depends on what you hold at its unit. Whoever runs membership there sees its people and can add or take them off, change its kind, print its card and end it. Whoever keeps its dues sees Dues and records them, and running membership carries that. Your own membership's dues are somebody else's to record. A member whose unit keeps its people's names within it reads A member here, and has no card to print.
