Modules

What your organization uses, within what its plan includes: switch off what you have no use for, and it comes back as it was when you switch it on.

Switch a module off

  1. Find the module under its group, such as Time & leave or Website.
  2. Press its switch.
  3. Read what will change: the modules going off, and any that go off with it.
  4. Press Save changes on the bar at the foot of the page.
  5. If you are asked to confirm it's you, enter your password again.

Then: The bar goes once it is saved. Everybody's menus change from their next page. The module's pages, menu entries, reminders and nightly jobs stop for everybody, and nothing in it is deleted. A module that needs it goes off with it, and says Off with beside it.

Rather not? Press Discard on the bar before you save to put every switch back as it was.

Sokha's organization pays nobody through ORG-APP, so Sokha switches off Pay periods & payroll and saves. Nobody sees Payroll again until somebody switches it back on.

Switch a module back on

  1. Press its switch.
  2. Read what comes on with it: a module that needs another switches that one on too.
  3. Press Save changes, and confirm it's you if you are asked.

Then: Everything made in it is there again, as it was. Payroll needs Clock & timesheets, Programs need the calendar, Levies need the finance book, and a website's more pages need its home page, so each comes on with what it needs.

Daniel switched off Clock & timesheets for the summer, and Payroll went off with it. In September Daniel switches timesheets back on, and Payroll comes back too, with every pay period as it was.

If a module has no switch

  1. Look for it under Always on: every organization has those.
  2. Or find Not in your plan beside it, and press it to see which plans include it.
  3. Change your plan on Billing, or ask the ORG-APP team.

Then: Once your plan includes it, it has a switch here.

See who switched what

  1. Read Latest changes, under the modules: each switch, which way, when, and who.
  2. A module that went with another says so, with the other's name.

Then: Each switch is in the audit log too.

Only the Owner and Admins switch modules, because a module is the whole organization's, like its billing, and each save asks them to confirm it's them, at most every 15 minutes; anybody else who opens the page sees what the organization uses, under a notice at the top that says the Owners and Admins change it. The AI assistant is switched on by an Owner alone, and a module your plan doesn't include shows Not in your plan.
