Getting set up

What a new organization still needs, worked out from what is really here, with the way to each step.

Do the next step

  1. Read What is left to set up: how many steps are done, and the next one after Next.
  2. Press the link beside a step, such as Open People, or the next step's name.
  3. Do it on the page that opens.
  4. Come back: the step is checked by itself once the thing is really there.

Then: The count and the bar go up. When every step is done, the page says that is everything, and the card leaves Home.

Who: Only whoever changes settings for the whole organization sees the guide, and most of its steps are theirs alone to do, such as appointing a second administrator.

Build the hierarchy is checked the moment Sokha adds a second unit, and unchecked again if somebody deletes it. Nobody marks it done by hand.

Mark a step you have read

  1. Find a step with Got it beside it: Check your organization's details, Choose what you use, or Look around the rest of it.
  2. Open the page it names, and look.
  3. Press Got it.

Then: The step is checked. Check your organization's details is also checked when somebody saves Settings › Organization › Details, and Choose what you use once a module is switched on.

Put the Home card away, or bring it back

  1. On Home, press Put this away for two weeks on the Getting set up card.
  2. To bring it back sooner, open Settings › Organization › Details and press Getting set up at the top.
  3. Press Show it on the home page again.

Then: The card is back on Home. Put away, it comes back by itself after two weeks, and this page stays whatever you do.

If a step checked itself off, or came undone

  1. Read the step: it says what it counts, such as a second unit.
  2. Open the page beside it and look for that thing.
  3. Ask the other administrators who has been setting up.

Then: Every step reads the real thing, so a check mark means the thing exists, whoever made it, and a step comes undone when the thing goes, such as a unit being deleted.

If a step is not listed, or does not count

  1. Look under Working life: it says only if you need it until you set working time or a leave type.
  2. Check Settings › Features › Modules for anything you switched off.
  3. Check your plan: a part of ORG-APP your plan does not include has no step.

Then: Working time and leave count only once you set one of them up. A step for something your plan does not include, or that you switched off in Settings › Features › Modules, is not listed at all.

Rather not? Switch the module on, or move to a plan that has it, and its step comes back.

Only an organization-wide role that changes settings, such as the Owner or an Admin, has this page and the Getting set up card on Home: anybody else finds no such page, because its steps are an administrator's to do.
