Crew roles

What somebody on a program's crew may do on that program, by their role: one answer for every program, chosen by your Owners and Admins.

Choose what a crew role may do

  1. Find the role's row: Organizer, Team leader, Small group leader, the roles your organization has named, then Speaker, Facilitator and Crew (volunteer).
  2. Check each thing it may do, Edit the running order, Arrange and send rooms, Message everyone on the program, Arrange small groups, Check people in, See bookings (no money), and uncheck the rest.
  3. Press Save changes.
  4. If you are asked to confirm it's you, enter your password again.

Then: It takes effect on every program at once. It applies on every program, only where the person is on the crew, and only while their place stands. Whoever runs a program can still do everything there, and only they add or remove its crew. On a program's People, each person's row under Crew says what their role lets them do, such as Team leader · rooms, messages, small groups, check-in.

Rather not? Press Discard before you save to put every box back as it was.

Who: Only the organization's Owners and Admins change it, and it is the same on every program. Whoever runs a program still adds and removes its crew.

Grace's organization sends visiting teams on its summer trips, each with a Team leader who rooms and messages their own people. Grace leaves Team leader as it starts, and checks Check people in for Media team too, so the photographers can help at the door. On every trip, Media team's rows on Crew now say Media team · check-in.

Give one of your organization's own roles something to do

  1. Name the role on a program first: on its People, press Crew, open somebody's role, and choose + Add a role… to type its name, such as Media team.
  2. Come back to Settings › Crew roles: the role has a row of its own, with nothing checked.
  3. Check what it may do, and press Save changes.

Then: Everybody who holds that role on any program's crew may do what you checked, there, while their place stands.

See who changed it last

  1. Read the line under the table: who changed it last, and on what day.
  2. Press Audit log beside it to see every change, with what it was before.

Only the organization's Owners and Admins open this page and change it: what somebody on a crew may do on every program is its leadership's to say. Anybody else who types its address is told whose page it is, and shown nothing.
