Consolidated reports
One report form's number and rating answers for one asking, added up from each unit to the region and the nation, for board packs and funders.
Add up a form's answers for one asking
- Choose the form under Form. Only forms with a number or rating question are listed.
- Choose the asking under Asking: a month such as 2026-09, a due day, or Once for a form asked once.
- Press Show.
- Read each row: a unit beneath the one on screen, with everything beneath it, and how many reports are behind it.
Then: Number questions are added up and ratings averaged, as each column's heading says. A row for the unit itself counts the reports written there, and the last row, All of, is the whole total.
A national form asks every unit how many families it served. Dara, on the national board, chooses it and 2026-09 and reads each region's total. Its rating question is averaged, not added: four reports rating 4, 5, 3 and 4 read 4.0, not 16.
Go down into a unit, and back up
- Press a unit's name in the table to see the units beneath it. Only a unit with units beneath it is a link.
- Press a name in the line above the table to go back up.
Then: The address keeps the form, the asking and the unit, so the link opens the same view for a colleague, who sees only the units they read for.
Download or print it for a board pack
- Go to the unit you want the figures for.
- Press Download.
- Choose Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv).
- Or press Print or save as PDF to print the page as it is, or keep it as a PDF.
Then: The spreadsheet lists the unit on screen and every unit beneath it, each with everything beneath it and how many levels down it sits. The download is written on your organization's audit record.
If a unit shows a dash, or a total changed
- Read a dash as: nobody at that unit answered that question for this asking.
- If a total changed, look for a report sent in late, or sent back and sent again: each counts with its answers as they stand now.
- If a unit is missing, check it is beneath the unit on screen: go up a level from the line above the table.
A form is listed when it asks units where you hold Read work reports or See roll-ups, and its figures count only the reports from those units. Nobody is named: the figures are about units. It needs Roll-ups & consolidated reports in your organization's plan.
