Connect an app

The page an assistant you are connecting opens, where you read what it asks to do as you and allow it or say no.

Allow an assistant to act as you

  1. Read who is asking: Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot marked Verified, or an app marked Unverified app with the name it gives itself.
  2. Read Sends you back to and Connecting as: the address it returns you to, and your own name.
  3. Under It asks to, uncheck anything you do not want it to do.
  4. Press Allow.
  5. Confirm it's you.

Then: You are sent back to the assistant, connected. It sees only what you can see and does only what you left checked, and every question it asks is logged under your name on Connections.

Rather not? Press Cancel to say no: you are sent back to the assistant, and nothing is connected.

Daniel connects ChatGPT. The page says ChatGPT, Verified, wants to act as Daniel. Daniel unchecks Create tasks, presses Allow, types their password, and is back in ChatGPT with the connection made.

If it says the request to connect has ended

  1. Go back to the assistant.
  2. Start connecting again from there.

If the app is marked Unverified app

  1. Read the name it gives itself and where it sends you back to.
  2. Press Allow only if you set the app up yourself, or trust where it sends you back to.
  3. Otherwise press Cancel.

Who: The Owner or an Admin decides whether unverified apps may connect, on Connections.

The page has nothing to press when the request has ended, when an unverified app is not allowed in your organization, or during a support visit. It opens only while your organization has AI connections on.
