A team's wall
One team's wall: what its members say to each other, which only they can read.
Write to your team
- Type in the box at the top of the wall.
- To mention somebody on the team, type @ and choose them.
- To link a task, type # and choose it.
- Press Post.
Then: It is on the wall for everybody on the team. Each member you mention is told at once by bell, phone and email; nobody else is sent anything.
Sokha leads the welcome team and posts 'Sunday doors open at 9:15, not 9:30' with @Dara and @Grace, who are on first. Dara and Grace are told at once; the other nine members see it the next time they open the wall.
Answer a post
- Press Comment under the post.
- Type your answer.
- Press Comment again to send it.
- Or press one of the four reactions under the post: like, celebrate, support or thanks.
Then: Your comment shows under the post for everybody on the team. Press a reaction again to take it back.
Pin a post, or take one down
- Find the post on the wall.
- Press the pin beside its name to keep it at the top; press it again to unpin it.
- To remove it, press the bin beside its name (labeled Take down), then press Take it down.
Then: A post taken down stops being visible to everyone. The record of it is kept, with who took it down.
Who: Whoever leads the team, or a deputy, pins posts and takes down anybody's. Anybody can take down their own.
Report a post that worries you
- Press the flag beside the post (labeled Report it to a safeguarding lead).
- Choose why.
- Add anything they should know, if you like.
- Press Report it.
Then: It goes to your safeguarding lead, or to your organization's owners where there is no safeguarding lead. Whoever wrote it is not told, and nothing changes on the wall.
Only the team's members see this page: anybody else, an owner of the organization included, finds no such page. A name reads Name withheld where that person's unit keeps its people's names to itself. A team's rotas are linked under its name only where your organization keeps rotas.
