A lesson or assignment

One lesson or assignment of your class on a page of its own: what to read or watch, what to hand in, and when it is due.

Read a lesson, and mark it done

  1. Open it from the class's Work tab, My learning or a session's agenda.
  2. Read it, watch its video, and open its files.
  3. Press Mark as done when you have finished it.
  4. Press Next for the next item, or Previous.

Then: It counts toward your progress in its module. Press Done to take it back.

Hand in an assignment

  1. Read its Instructions, and What to hand in: text, files or a link, and when it is due.
  2. Write Your answer, add your files, or paste A link to a document you have shared.
  3. Press Hand in, or Save draft to finish later.

Then: It says Handed in, or that it was recorded as late. Your mark and feedback come when it is given back.

Rather not? Press Take it back to change what you handed in, as the assignment allows: until it is marked, until it is due, or never.

Ask about it

  1. Press Ask in Posts.
  2. Write your question in the class's Posts, with the topic Question.

Then: A facilitator or another participant replies in the thread, and you are told.

If it says Not open yet

  1. Read when it opens: on a date, at its session, or once you finish the item before it.
  2. Come back then: it appears here.

Then: Until then you see its title and when it opens, and nothing else of it.

Add your own files to a lesson, as whoever runs the class

  1. On a lesson from the course, press Add your own files for this class.
  2. Add your files, and save.
  3. Switch on Use mine instead to show yours in place of the course's files.

Then: Learners in this class see your files under From your facilitator; with Use mine instead, in place of the course's files. The lesson's words stay the course's.

A learner opens the work set for them while the class holds their place; whoever runs the class opens every item. A participant from outside opens it while the class holds their place.
