1:1s
Your own notes of your 1:1s with the people who report to you, the actions you agreed and the next 1:1 booked, and the notes your managers shared with you.
Keep a note of a 1:1
- Choose the person in your list.
- Write what you talked about under Add a note.
- Write the Actions agreed, one a line (optional).
- Change the Day of the 1:1 if it was not today.
- Press Save note.
Then: The note shows with its day, and each action as a box: press a box to check it off, or again to uncheck it. Nobody is told: the note is yours alone.
Daniel meets Sokha on Tuesday and writes that Sokha would like to lead the summer camp program, with two actions: “Find a camp shadowing day” and “Ask Mary Ann about the budget line”. A week later Daniel checks off the first one.
Book or move the next 1:1
- Choose the person in your list.
- Choose the day and time under Move it to.
- Press Move.
Then: Your list says Next 1:1 with the day and time beside their name. It is kept for you, and not sent to them: agree the time with them as you usually do.
Rather not? Empty Move it to and press Move to clear the booking.
Share a note with them, or delete it
- Find the note.
- Press Share with them.
Then: They read it from then on, with its actions, under Shared with you on their own 1:1s page; no notice tells them. A shared note stays shared, and can no longer be deleted.
Rather not? Press Delete on a note you have not shared: it goes at once.
Move a point into their review
- Find the note.
- Press Move into the review.
Then: Their review opens, with the note's words, dated, added to Points from your 1:1s in your part of it. From then on they are the review's: shared with them when you share it, and read by HR as the review is. If the review is shared already, they read the words at once, with no Changed after sharing mark. The note says moved into the review.
Read the notes your manager shared with you
- Look under Shared with you.
- Read each note, with its day and who wrote it, and its actions.
Then: Only the notes your manager chose to share show here. Their other notes are theirs.
Your notes are yours alone: HR, the Owners and the person never read them, unless you share one or move a point into their review. The people listed report to a position you hold now, or are somebody you kept notes with before. A manager who does not hold Read pay opens 1:1s from My team in the menu, beside Reviews and Joining. A support visit reads none of them. 1:1s exist only where your organization's plan has Performance & engagement.
